Houston, TX, August 26, 2013 – MaloneBailey, LLP, a global public accounting firm based in Houston, Texas, announced today that its official softball team, Scared Hitless, won the championship game on Thursday, August 22 of the Thursday Co-ed CPA League for the second season of summer 2013, which ran from July11 – August 22. The league consists of various, local public accounting firms in Houston, including BDO, Briggs & Veselka Co., EEPB P.C., Gainer Donnelly & Desroches, Harper & Pearson Company, P.C., Linn Thurber LLP, MaloneBailey, LLP, Melton & Melton, LLP and MP & W.
The fifteen person Scared Hitless team consists of both males and females and has been playing in a variety of softball leagues for the past seven years. MaloneBailey’s record for the second season of summer 2013 for the Thursday Co-ed CPA League is 10 wins and 2 losses.
Scared Hitless Coach, Matt Allan, also an Experienced Audit Staff at MaloneBailey, stated that, “we are thrilled to win the championship and I attribute our success to playing more consistently and with less errors.
