Houston, TX, May 11, 2015 – MaloneBailey, LLP, a global public accounting firm based in Houston, Texas, announced today that Leah Gonzales, CPA has been promoted from Senior Audit Manager to Principal. Gonzales’ responsibilities as Principal will include performing engagement quality reviews (EQRs) where she will assist Audit Partner Allan Dulany on EQRs for the firm’s SEC audit practice. She will also play a more key role in the firm’s quality control program as well as the firm’s in-house training initiative. In addition, Gonzales will continue to serve clients and plan, supervise and conduct integrated audits of private and public companies in the oil and gas, software and manufacturing industries. This includes managing and supervising audits of internal controls over financial reporting of SEC companies.
With nearly 20 years of auditing and accounting experience, Gonzales joined MaloneBailey in 2008 from PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP where she served as a Manager and planned and conducted integrated audits of financial statements of companies in the manufacturing, service and real estate industries.

A native of the Philippines, Gonzales earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of San Jose Recoletos in Cebu City, Philippines. Her promotion is effective as of May 1, 2015.
